3 tailor-made solutions for easier everyday mobility
06.09.2022
New transport practices are reshuffling the pack of cards in terms of public exchanges as a whole. To support these changes, Mobility by Colas has developed a range of tailor-made services for its public and private sector customers and their users.
The concept of mobility currently covers the service, the infrastructure, the mode of transport used and its performance for the user in terms of comfort, efficiency, fluidity and safety. It is no longer just a question of organising means of transport, but of increasing the performance of the routes, regardless of the locality of region. This "new" mobility should increase the overall performance of the localities/regions, their competitiveness and their attractiveness. This search for performance must not, of course, be at the expense of counteracting the negative impacts of the sector on the environment and society.
In this sense, the mission of Mobility by Colas is to promote the development and attractiveness of urban, suburban and rural areas by providing easier access to personalised, more active and safer mobility, in conjunction with resilient development. Our ambition is to develop digital solutions and services in conjunction with the ecosystem formed by users, public and private mobility service operators, local authorities and employers, to meet the needs and challenges of sustainable local and regional development by means of dynamic, shared and tranquil management of public areas.
Mobility by Colas is developing three specific services: Moov'hub, ANAIS and QIEVO
Three situations, three solutions:
- Moov'Hub is a comprehensive territorial solution that integrates a tailor-made range of mobility and parking services. We support local authorities in developing the attractiveness of their area by observing mobility needs, adapting mobility services according to the practices of users, encouraging changes in behaviour (favouring particular services during peak pollution times, reducing private car use) or even by connecting isolated areas by promoting intermodality. The aim is to improve the planning and sharing of urban areas.
- ANAIS is a digital service that promotes safe mobility by means of optimised preventive road management, identifying warning or accident hazard zones on the basis of on-board data in vehicles. ANAIS helps the road managing body to assess the relevance of the works carried out on the infrastructures and to use indicators to check whether the safety of users has improved after road works have been carried out on these hazard zones. ANAIS wishes to promote and encourage the implementation of a quality, reliable, sustainable and resilient infrastructure.
- Finally, the QIEVO digital platform, designed to optimise mobility in exceptional situations (major urban construction sites, etc.), organises the regulation of last-mile logistics flows, guiding delivery personnel by means of a centralised planning system that favours just-in-time delivery. QIEVO promotes safe and tranquil logistics by organising multi-site management and reduces construction site lorry traffic and parking on the public domain and protects the quality of life of local residents. QIEVO thus promotes the environmental and energy transition by improving air quality and reducing carbon footprints.
Mobility by Colas thus operates in every situation in daily life. And in action to facilitate and ensure tranquil mobility.
